Lichen – a Unseen Edible posses a great potential as a source of nutrition. Extremely beautiful and frequently confused with moss, lichen can be termed as a superfood.

The plant has the unique quality of soaking up the flavor of the environment in which it grows: on rough coastlines, in refreshing alpine mountain air and amid fragrant cloud forests.
The obscure taste of lichen has been captured in this design collection and gives a glimpse into lichen’s world – strength and serenity.
Simiæn is born of a docu – fiction, where lichen were shown as a source of food.
The brand works with the most basic and resilient resources of the world. Lichen for food and beverage, stone for design objects.
Our goal is to enable people to emotionally return to places of unspoiled nature through our products.
